Dear Ms. Allen,
Valley Regional Transit has reviewed the request for Subdivision Preliminary Plat for Burnside
Ridge Estates. The long range transit plan Valley Connect 2.0 has a route extending along Linder
planned in the Growth Scenario found on page 49.
1. Valley Regional Transit requests a Standard bus stop (size small) with a concrete pad
10'x10' be poured between the sidewalk and curb on N Linder south of the E Pivot Drive
about 50' as shown in the image on the next page. The purpose of the pad is to provide
an ADA compliant boarding/alighting area. The concrete pad will allow VRT to schedule
a stop there as part of future route planning and move amenities such as signage and a
bench onsite in accordance with the Bus Stop Typology Kit of Parts (page 21).

2. Direct pedestrian connections should be made from the bus stop into the development,
particularly along E Pivot Drive.
3. A transit review application needs to be completed and returned to Valley Regional
Transit at least 45 days prior to the estimated construction date for review and
approval. A completed application will provide VRT the applicants contact information,
construction schedule and proposed pad location. There is no fee for the application.
