BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BORTON, CAVENER,LITTLE ROBERTS,
OVERTON, STRADER, TAYLOR
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE APPOINTMENT OF BRIDGET KING TO
SEAT 2 OF THE MERIDIAN ARTS COMMISSION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS,the Meridian City Code § 2-2-1 establishes the Meridian Arts Commission, its
members and terms of their appointments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Meridian deems it to be in the best interest of
the citizens of the City of Meridian to approve the appointment of Bridget King to Seat 2 of the
Meridian Arts Commission as recommended by Mayor Simison and described herein;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY,IDAHO:
Section 1. That, effective immediately, Bridget King is hereby appointed to Seat 2, which
term shall expire on February 28, 2027;
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption
and approval.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Meridian, Idaho, this 5th day of March, 2024.
