On June 2, 2017, SITE excavated four test pits on the referenced property. The property is
located on the south side of Waltman Lane, north of Interstate 180 and west of Meridian,
Road. Ten Mile Creek is the property's east boundary. Our test pits were excavated on a
property that includes numerous parcels. The following parcel numbers and acreages were
found on the Ada County Assessor's website.

Test pits were excavated, and temporary wells installed, to confirm the depth to groundwater.
The test pits revealed the groundwater was 7-8 feet below the ground surface in June 2017.
Well TP1 did not survive the first month. Cattle destroyed well TP2 in August 2017. In August
2017, A former domestic well casing was observed in the field on the lot addressed as 505 W.
Waltman Lane. It is shown on the aerial photo in the Appendix. This well has also been
measured with the wells installed by SITE. Two test pit installed wells and the domestic well
described above remain. Groundwater peaked at 4-8 feet deep in September 2017. A large
percentage of this difference is due to variation in ground surface elevation.

The Ada County Soil Survey, (US Soil Conservation Service) indicates the onsite groundwater
may be as shallow as 1.5-3.0 feet in the northeast half of the site along Ten Mile Creek and
greater than 80 inches deep in the southwest half.
Wells logs for nearby and adjacent properties were obtained from the IDWR website. Four logs
were selected and are included with letter. Two of these wells are located on adjacent parcels,
on Waltman Lane at or across the street from the subject property, both indicating a static
groundwater of 12 feet deep. The other two are to the east, across Ten Mile Creek and
indicate static groundwater at 4 & 7 feet deep.
Measured and reports depths to groundwater indicate this development can be constructed but
will require either substantial filling or shallow / high groundwater methods for storm water
disposal. Groundwater will require pumping during installation of deep utilities but will not
impact construction of future homes or right of ways on the property.
