BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BORTON, CAVENER, HOAGLUN,
OVERTON, PERREAULT, STRADER
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN APPOINTING
ROBERT E.SIMISON TO SEAT 5 OF THE MERIDIAN DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Seat 5 of the Meridian Development Corporation is currently vacant; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council find that it is in the best interest of the people of
Meridian to appoint Robert E. Simison to Seat 5 of the Meridian Development Corporation;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MERIDIAN, IDAHO:
Section 1. That Robert E. Simison is hereby appointed to Seat 5 of the Meridian
Development Corporation for a term to run from July 25, 2023 through August 31, 2024;
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption
and approval.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Meridian, Idaho, this 25th day of July, 2023.
