Meridian City Council: As homeowners in the BainBridge community and registered voters, my husband and I have great concerns with the possible changes in the Conditional Use Permit requested by Costco. Allowing Costco to extend their Receiving hours will not only cause added traffic on Tree Farm & Lost Rapids (although truck drivers are not allowed to use Tree Farm and Lost Rapids they do not comply) but extended hours of noise for deliveries affects surrounding homeowners. Tree Farm & Lost Rapids are busy streets used by BainBridge residents and customers of Costco and there are great safety concerns with the street being narrow, the use of bike lanes, children waiting for school buses, Seniors in Cadence walking and crossing the street to enter Keith Bird park, children on electric scooters etc. Please do not allow Costco to change the 1 current CUP in place as this will add to the problems we are already experiencing in our community for non- compliance.
