Dear Ms.Allen,
Thank you for the opportunity to comment on this application.As you are aware,this project lies within the
Northern Gateway Urban Renewal District. Upon review, it appears to comply with both the current
Destination: Downtown Master Plan and the Specific Plan for the URD.
I wanted to emphasize the importance of East Third Street.This roadway is vital for a future north-south
connection from Franklin Road. It is imperative that both the City and ACHD adhere to the City of
Meridian's adopted Downtown Streetscape Guidelines in regards to the amount of right-of-way that is
needed for future build-out and to ensure the streetscape and pedestrian facilities are installed as per the
plan.
