Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) appreciates this opportunity to provide comments regarding Fairview
Apartments located at 1005 E Fairview Avenue, Meridian, Idaho.The application is for 150 apartment units on 8.25
acres. Please see the below comments:
1. This project does not abut the State Highway system and is approximately 1.5 miles west from SH-55.
2. The City is reminded that the SH-55 corridor is already congested.This project will increase the number of
vehicle trips in the corridor. As the City continues to add additional trips to the corridor through development,
the congestion will worsen until the roadway system is ultimately overloaded and fails.
