Subject:Rackham East annexation and rezone H-2022-0085

I am submitting some neighborly feedback regarding the annexation and rezone in Rackham East. I cannot find any plans
to mitigate the existing traffic noise and what will be increased traffic noise to current and future construction. When
this project, Eagle View Landing, began I expected the developer would install new fencing along the residential
perimeter much like what started with the Norco project. One would think that a development of this magnitude
would include building a solid, matching-material, residential-perimeter fence to mitigate some of the traffic noise
that they are creating behind our homes. None of the residential perimeter fencing I expected materialized, maybe that
expectation is unfounded on my part, but they did send someone to poorly install some privacy slats in the chain link
fence along the back of my property. It is bad enough when the patrons and employees of the businesses in the
development get off their late night shifts and rev their engines in the parking lots and peel out down the
straightaways headed towards the only exit at Silverstone on a nightly basis. How about restricting the speed limit or
installing speed bumps? There is often private security driving around the parking lots- how about increasing their
presence and helping with the noise mitigation?
