I am writing to express my strong opposition to the Artisan Victory Market H-2022-0066 multi-family development
project.
As a resident of south Meridian, I experience the traffic nightmare that is S Eagle Road on a daily basis. On Thursday
January 19th, it was snowing during rush hour traffic and S Eagle was stop-and-go the entire way from 84 to Kuna. This is
not an exaggeration. On a normal day, traffic in south Meridian is an embarrassment for a city this size, and adding
more high density housing to an already overburdened area will only exacerbate the existing traffic problems and
negatively impact the quality of life for residents in south Meridian as well as anyone who needs to drive through the
area.
The residents of Meridian would rather see desperately needed shopping and dining options in the area that would
allow us to spend our money closer to home and spend less time sitting in traffic.
