To whom it may concern:
I am writing to voice my opposition to the proposed apartments at Eagle Road and Victory.
I live in this area, and can tell you that this parcel should NEVER be zoned for housing.
Rather, we in this area are DESPERATE for retail and restaurants. We have exactly one
grocery store and zero restaurants in South Meridian (south of Victory).
Furthermore, the traffic here is already bad. With street closures on Cloverdale and at Locust
Grove and Victory for road work, everyone is forced onto Eagle road. It recently took me 45
minutes to travel 7 miles north. While I realize that the aforementioned projects will one day
be completed, it is obvious with all of our growth that other road closures will take their
place.
I ask that you reject this apartment project and rezone that parcel as retail/restaurant usage.
