Victory Rd. External Sender - Please use caution with links or attachments. I would like to propose that this not be approved at this time for the following reasons. ACHD is currently putting in the round a bout at the corner of Locust Grove and Victory Rd. They are also widening Locust Grove from 2 lanes to 4 lanes and the center turn lane. I am on the HOA board of Tradewinds Subdivision on the SE corner of Locust Grove and Victory Rd. We have 39 houses in our subdivision, attached to our subdivision on the east side is Teakwood Place that has 21 homes and they have to use our subdivision to exit there's onto Locust Grove. Already with the 2 subdivisions it potentially is 60 homes with 2 drivers at each home all leaving and exiting out of one exit that is 5 houses away from the round a bout entrance of 2 lanes. Across Locust Grove on the west side is another plot of land that has been through your planning and zoning but has been put on hold until the round a bout is complete. They are suppose to exit across from Coastline that is the only exit from Tradewinds and Teakwood Place. I see no way for any of us to safely get out onto Locust Grove with all of the traffic coming from the south of us all trying to get to Mountain View High School and the interstate. If you add in 17 more homes exiting out the same road onto Locust Grove there are more risks of having accidents with no way to get out or to get emergency vehicles into the subdivisions in a timely matter. I just received a notice today that ACHD is wanting to put a round a bout at Amity and Locust Grove which will be having the cars from the 2000 homes around Lake Hazel and Locust Grove without anything to even pause the cars (4 way stop now) long enough for everyone to get out of Coastline. I would like to thank you for your time. Please feel free to call me if you have any more questions. Delaine McLafferty HOA board member of Tradewinds 208-870-7538 kdskandles@msn.com - 1
