Greetings,
Idaho Transportation Department ( ITD ) appreciates this opportunity to provide comments regarding Delano
Apartments located at 3850 N Centrepointe Way, Meridian , Idaho . The application is for an 84-apartment complex on
3 . 49 acres . Please see the below comments :
1 . This project does not abut State Highway 55 ( SH - 55 ) .
2 . Traffic generation numbers were not provided with this application . ITD needs more information on the trip
generations to determine what mitigations, if any, that the applicant may be required to construct on the State
Highway system . If the new development generates 100 or more new trips in the peak hour or 1 , 000 new trips
in a day to SH -55, a Traffic Impact Study (TIS ) will be required . Mitigations identified by the Traffic Impact
Study shall be the responsibility of the applicant to install .
ITD reserves the right to make further comments upon review of a TIS if required .
