I live in Alpine Pointe immediately to the north of the proposed development at 4169 N
Linwood Way. I have a few concerns about this new community from the drawings I have
seen so far. Mainly the lot sizes. This in no way has a smooth transition from Alpine Pointe
homes and lots in this new neighborhood and the same can be said for Champion Park to
the south. This is a bad infill design. I fully support the development of a community to the
south and actually would like a street that connects my neighborhood to Campion Park as
my daughter goes to Discovery elementary school which would help greatly. I am worried
about the number of houses this brings and the added traffic to our neighborhood as the
path of least resistance from Kingtown would be north into Alpine Pointe. I am also
concerned as Kingstown will tie into Delano the other community that has very small lot sizes
with a proposed apartment complex and could potentially further drive more vehicles into
Alpine Pointe. Basically I just want the lot sizes greatly increased to reduce the number of
cars per house and have more open space like Alpine Pointe has in our community.
Thanks for listening!
