Interstate Center Subdivision was originally plated to be a business park with individual lots
having access served by a private loop road.As it turned out the subdivision has been
developed into a single recreation facility called Wahooz and Roaring Springs.During the many
phases over the years portions of this private road have been vacated to develop the project.In
2006 the owner recorded a vacation for the remaining portion of S.Black Marlin Lane&W.King
Salmon Lane(Inst#107006039)thinking that would be the final action needed to remove the
private road and associated easement.While processing the application for a new phase
overlapping the private road,the City of Meridian determined that the vacation had not gone
through the official City process to vacate under their rules.The city is requiring the owner to
go through their process to make the vacation official.This process requires notification to all
potential utilities that may have wanted to use the Public Utilities Easement as called out on
the plat.
In order to move this forward,the owner needs to receive letters from all of the potential
utilities providers that this potential easement can be vacated in order to process the official
vacating.We are requesting this letter from your company.
This vacation is all the private road/public utilities easement shown on the plat as S.Black
Marlin Lane and W.King Salmon Lane located within lots 10 thru 18 all owned by Bowden
Properties,LLC.

This is in response to the request received by Idaho Power Company dated May 4, 2022,
regarding the possible vacation and abandonment of a portion of S Black Marlin Ln & W King
Salmon Ln that are located within Lots 10-18 in the Interstate Center A Subdivision. The area
being vacated (the "road right of way area") is more specifically shown on the attached Exhibit
A that was included in your request.
Our records indicate that there are no Idaho Power Company facilities within the road right-of-
way area. As such, Idaho Power can support a vacation within the certain area commonly
identified as the road right-of-way area.

Thanks for your reply.There is a 10' utilities easement along Overland Rd that your facilities are in. (note#5 on plat)This
easement is not changing.
We are building a new parking lot for Roaring Springs that will use the existing entryways, so no new entry will be
constructed at the Black Marlin location.
I have clouded the Lumen facilities locations on the parking lot plan and provide some street views for your
consideration.

Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District (NMID) will have no comment on the request to vacate the easements for the
streets addressed in these materials. However NMID's access to the pump station we own and operated must be
maintained through this site and the easement for the Ten Mile Drain which is a minimum of 100' total, 50' from
centerline each side must be honored.
Hopefully this email will work for you needs to vacate the street easements.
