Dear Honorable Members of Meridian Planning and Zoning and Meridian City Council,
Kuna School District has reviewed the application of Hadler Neighborhood AZ,PP H-2022-0064 and provides the
following comments for your consideration. Kuna School District has experienced unprecedented student growth
over the last ten years and based on approved platts,this growth seems to only continue.
Currently,in the impacted zone of Silver Trail Elementary,there are currently 2,334 Kuna City-approved platted
lots to be built. Based on our district and community's student generation rate,we are anticipating 1,517 additional
students in this elementary zone:

As the data illustrates,the zone impacted by the Hadler development will already be at capacity. This development
of 145 homes adds more students to our district,which is already over capacity at all levels once built out.
Unfortunately,we cannot serve the children in this development because the approved platts are beyond our
capacity.
