We are yet again faced with another proposed development of the area on the southwest corner of Meridian Road and
Victory Road. Clearly, there is a lot of opposition to development of this property. The increased traffic along Victory
Road is already problematic with the developments further west on Victory. The stress on resources in the area is yet
another problem.
What we really need to focus on is the quality of life in Meridian. We are finally seeing the huge housing boom in the
area slow down. Let’s focus on making Meridian the place we have loved to live in and not an over built, over stressed,
over urbanized place! Embrace the nature and beauty around us and let this small area be developed into a place of
natural beauty where we can be proud to showcase the very things that we should be embracing in this remarkable area
we choose to live!
Please choose what is RIGHT for this area and not what will put money into pockets and drag down the quality of life in
this beautiful place!
