To Whom It May Concern - We are writing to oppose the proposed zoning change that would allow for the development of multi-family, corporately owned rentals at the SW corner of Meridian and Victory roads. While our opposition is multi-factorial, our primary concern, as homeowners in both Strada Bellissima and Meridian Heights, is the incredible burden on traffic in that area. The number of new drivers associated with the density of the proposal would make Victory road nearly impassable during key times. My understanding is that because of the canal and the state highway, there is only one ingress/egress to the location. This is both dangerous and detrimental to the quality of life for anyone that needs to use Victory to leave or return to their residence. The level of development in this area, with lack of sufficient services, is nearly untenable as it is. Increasing the density in an area that can’t support it would tip it over the edge into the nearly unlivable category. Thank you for registering our opposition.
