I am writing to express my strong opposition to any change to the zoning for lands concerning H-
2022-0051 from what it is currently to one that allows for more multi-family rentals and single family
homes. As it is, the traffic congestion is already a serious problem, and with more development there
would be very few ways to dilute the increased traffic. As a teacher, I am also very concerned about
the impact this project would have on the capacity of the West Ada schools in this area. The schools
are already dealing with classrooms that have a larger student to teacher ratio, and this would only
exacerbate the problem. This lot would be the wrong place to have another dense population
development.
I have grown up in Meridian and have enjoyed seeing it grow and prosper, but the citizens of Meridian
cannot allow it to succumb to suburban sprawl.
I sincerely request you reject any change to the zoning for the land in question, rather than make an
already busy traffic area completely unsafe for the residents that already live here.
