Dear City Clerk,
I am in opposition to the proposed development plan (H-2022-0051) on the corner of Meridian and Victory Roads. As a
resident of the Meridian Willow Creek Heights subdivision I am concerned about the increased traffic flow and
overcrowding of the area. My family has lived in the same neighborhood since 1999 and we have seen the rapid
development of the surrounding area. There has been an increase in traffic accidents and the quality of living has
decreased significantly.
Adding another 134 housing units on this corner would drastically exacerbate the current traffic issues and also increase
pressure on the surrounding schools who are already at or above capacity.
I am asking you to please say NO to this development proposal to preserve the remaining quality and integrity of the
pre-existing community. The only positive use of this land would be to leave it as open space and to enhance the area by
making it into a nature reserve. This would keep traffic from getting worse and would provide a space for the
surrounding community to experience nature in their own backyard.
