I have been a homeowner in the Bear Creek development since 2015.
There have been many recent changes in traffic issues (congestion and accidents), which I believe are a
result of the recent additional 11 complexes with 3200 units near our neighborhood. The addition of 134
units and 100-plus vehicles would increase traffic negatively on W Victory Rd. to S Meridian Rd. and would
create bottlenecks that not only would be inconvenient but would result in emergency services being
impeded during morning and afternoon commute hours.
This high density complex addition would not only affect traffic and human safety, but it would also have
an impact on our already overcrowded school system, resulting in an increase in taxes.
We would also have the loss of a natural open space. With the current zoning of the property, at least
portions of the natural open space could be saved with proper planning and stay within the FLUM
guidelines.
In 2020, a similar proposal was denied as this 2022 proposal should be denied as it does not fit with the
proposed guidelines for growth in this area.
Please stop high density growth in this case as it has the potential to further negatively affect this area
and its residents.
With respect and concern,
VikkiPalazzari
