BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BERNT, BORTON, CAVENER,
HOAGLUN, PERREAULT, STRADER
A RESOLUTION UPDATING WATER AND WASTEWATER ASSESSMENT FEES;
AUTHORIZING THE MERIDIAN PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT TO COLLECT SUCH
FEES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, according to the requirements of Idaho Code section 63-1311A, following
publication of notice in the Idaho Press on September 23,2022 and September 30,2022,the City Council
of the City of Meridian held a hearing on the adoption of proposed decreasing and increasing fees of the
Meridian Public Works Department, as set forth below, on October 4, 2022; and
WHEREAS, following such hearing, the City Council, by formal motion, did approve said
proposed new fees of the Meridian Public Works Department;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, IDAHO:
Section 1. That the following fees shall be updated as follows, and added to the Citywide Fee
Schedule:

Meridian Water Service.

Meridian Wastewater Service.

Section 2. That the Meridian Public Works Department is hereby authorized to implement and
carry out the collection of said updated fees.
Section 3. That these updated fees shall be effective as of November 1, 2022, and shall
supersede all fees previously adopted for such services.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Meridian, Idaho, this 4th day of October, 2022.
