Hello: We are residents near this tract and have followed the status and view it frequently in
detail while stopped NB on Meridian Road awaiting the continually increasing congestion
at the Victory intersection to clear. Looking at the tract closely, its limitations and access
issues, one is appreciative the city made the right decision previously denying high density
projects here.
Rezoning? Really? Were those who designed and approved the original zoning mistaken,
negligent or unable to envision how to balance the quantity and quality of growth? I don't
think so. It's obvious to those watching disposition of this complex tract the developments
being proposed are inconsistent with the goals and quality of neighborhoods our City
should always be endeavoring to create...and sustain. Configuration of this tract, at this
busy intersection along with its traversing canal and non accessibility to adjacent tracts is
not appropriate for a high density multi family project. The city knows this as does the
surrounding community. Make the right decision and deny this project. We hope all involved
in this review live in our city and have vested interest keeping this particular parcel from
becoming another low desirability, claustrophobic, choke point neighborhood.
Respectfully,
Jon and Sheri Row
