22-2340 Meridian Development Commission Reappointing and Appointing seats to MDC Seats 2, 7 and 1 CITY OF MERIDIAN RESOLUTION NO. 22-2340
BY THE CITY COUNCIL: BERNT, BORTON, CAVENER,
HOAGLUN, PERRAULT, STRADER
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, REAPPOINTING ROB McCARVEL TO SEAT 2, REAPPOINTING HIT
FITZGERALD TO SEAT 7, AND APPOINTING BRAD HOAGLUN TO SEAT 1 OF THE
MERIDIAN DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS,pursuant to Idaho Code section 50-2704, Meridian City Code section 1-13-4
charges the full City Council with appointment of members to the Board of the Meridian Development
Corporation; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council find that it is in the best interest of the people of
Meridian to reappoint Rob McCarvel to Seat 2 of the Meridian Development Corporation;
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council find that it is in the best interest of the people of
Meridian to reappoint Kit Fitzgerald to Seat 7 of the Meridian Development Corporation;
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council find that it is in the best interest of the people of
Meridian to appoint Brad Hoaglun to Seat 1 of the Meridian Development Corporation;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MERIDIAN CITY,IDAHO:
Section 1. That Rob McCarvel is hereby appointed to Seat 2 of the Meridian Development
Corporation for a term to run from September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2025;
Section 2. That Kit Fitzgerald is hereby reappointed to Seat 7 of the Meridian Development
Corporation for a term to run from September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2025;
Section 3. That Brad Hoaglun is hereby appointed to Seat 1 of the Meridian Development
Corporation for a term to run from September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2025;
Section 4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption
and approval.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Meridian, Idaho, this 23rd day of August, 2022.
