A geotechnical evaluation for the project site was performed by Materials Testing & Inspection ( MTI )
with subsurface soil information summarized in their report dated November 18, 2011 . MTI also
performed groundwater monitoring of the project site from November 2011 through September 2013
with the results of those readings provided in their letter dated September 25, 2013 . According to the
reports, high groundwater can be anticipated at depths from approximately 2 -ft to 4-ft below the
existing ground surface . Based on the information provided in the geotechnical reports, the roadway
finish grade centerline elevations were designed to be more than 3 -ft above the anticipated
groundwater elevations .
