As someone whose home shares a property line to the land in question, we are horrified to
hear that a request has been made to eliminate the required residential landscape buffer
for the proposed buildings. We strongly request that the city does not agree to that portion
of the proposal. We are deeply concerned about the negative effect on our home’s
property value due to a storage unit wall looming over and encroaching upon our backyard
and house. We feel that the at least 25 ft residential landscape buffer requirement needs to
be enforced. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.
