In accord with Meridian City Code 11-5, the Planning Division of the Meridian Community Development
respectfully submits a UDC text amendment application.
The proposed text amendment provides a broad range of changes to multiple code sections. The most
notable changes include multi -family and vertically integrated parking standards; live/work definition and
standards; updates to the private street standards and various other miscellaneous changes throughout
Chapters 1-5.
All the proposed changes to the UDC including the support documents are attached for your review in
PDF format. Further, the proposed changes went through a thorough and collaborative review over
several months with the UDC Focus Group.
City Staff believes the proposed changes will make the implementation and use of the UDC more
understandable and enforceable.
Sincerely,
