Bill and Caleb, I under that Heron Village Expansion application will go before City Council tonight. The Meridian Fire Department has contacted ACHD’s Traffic Services staff with concerns regarding on-street parking on Blue Heron Lane. The available on- street parking supplements on-site parking for the existing apartments on Blue Heron Lane creating issues for emergency services. I am assuming that the Fire Department has also brought these issues to your attention and that 1 adequate on-site parking will be required. As the lack of available on-site parking should not be an issue that ACHD is tasked with solving. Other areas that the Meridian Fire Department has identified as having on-street parking issues are listed in the email below. Blue Heron Lane E/O N. Meridian Road  Cul-de-sacs in the Settlement Bridge subdivision (on the SE corner of McMillan & Locust Grove)  W Pine Avenue between NW 10th and NW 11th, were a new apartment complex is  W Archerfield St and W Dyver Avenue Some requests have come directly from Meridian Fire, others from concerned residents.
