Hi Sonya, I wanted to point out that the elevations attached to the email referenced below (and here for convenience) are the current updated versions. These replace the elevations that had been partially included with the resubmittal several weeks ago that were still attached to the Applicant Response to Staff Report table with your comments in red. We understand the buildings will be reviewed as part of a separate design review process, but we wanted to make sure the current versions are reflected in the record and used for any visuals. We also continue to request staff’s support and will ask for Council approval (to be included as DA conditions) of certain proposed design features including: (1) 2:12 roof pitch on amenity buildings to provide architectural variety; (2) 3:12 pitch on town home shed roof at the garages, to allow larger windows with lower sills at the second level; and (3) non-elevated ground floors along ROW, to allow ADA-compliant access to the front door of all residential units, and to meet Plan goals for “human-scaled design” with entrances close to streets.
