RE: Meridian Movado Village Subdivision—FP-2022-0002 Staff Report
Dear Mr. Dodson:
Please accept this letter written on behalf of our client, Meridian Movado Village Investors, LP, as the written response
outlining their concerns and proposed revisions to the above referenced staff report.
We propose that item 11 in Section VI I of the staff report be rewritten as follows:
Prior to issuance of any building permit, the final plat shall be reeepde in process of obtaining Agency approvals for final
plat recording.
In summary, we object to item 11 in Section VII of the staff report, as written. Per conversations between Marcel Lopez
(Project Manager, Conger Group) and yourself on September 17, 2021, you stated "the Final Plat process needs to get
going as we discussed in order for building permits to be pulled". The client has been under the impression that building
permits can be issued prior to the final plat being recorded as along as the process is moving forward.
We propose that item 18 in Section VII of the staff report be removed. Item 18 of Section VII which states the following:
Streetlights are required along Overland frontage. A streetlight plan must be submitted and approved prior to final plat
signature, and installation of streetlights must be completed prior to any type of occupancy.
Existing overhead power lines are located along the Overland frontage for the entirety of the site frontage. Proposing
streetlights along the southern frontage of Overland would cause conflicts with the existing power lines. Streetlights exist
on the north side of Overland as well as the intersection of Overland and Movado Way. We ask that the requirement to
provide streetlight along Overland be removed due to physical restraints.
If you have any further questions or comments, please contact me at 208-376-5153 or via email at
