Broadway Ave., Ste. 102 Meridian, ID 83642 FEE: Project Vanguard/H-2021-0081/Request for Deferral Butler Spink File No. 22543.2 Dear Sonya: On behalf of the property owner and applicant, Meridian 118, LLC, we are respectfully requesting a deferral of tonight's Planning&Zoning Commission hearing to March 17, 2022. Project Vanguard a large, important project in the City, with two developers. As you are aware,the effort by the developers has been to clarify all entitlement aspects of the Project prior to the hearing. The City has worked diligently with the Applicant to prepare the presentation to the Commission. However, we did not receive a revised staff report from ACHD until yesterday, and it is only today that the Applicant and its various consultants can start to address that report. Of course, several ACHD elements affect the Meridian staff report. Since we received the Meridian staff report earlier this week the Applicant has been working on a response to Staff. We believe that the few weeks delay will ensure that items in the Meridian and ACHD reports will more seamlessly come together to help ensure that Project Vanguard can be reviewed by the Commission with just one hearing.
