RE: Preliminary Plat for Summertown Subdivision
Dear Planning and Zoning Commission & City Council:
On behalf of Summertown LLC, we respectively request your approval of the preliminary plat for
Summertown Subdivision. This preliminary plat contains 26 total lots; 14 of which are multi-family
lots and 9 single family lots and three (3) common lots on 13.83 acres. The subdivision is located on
the southeast corner of N. Venable Lane and W. Ustick Road.
Site Information
During annexation the City Council approved the Summertown (H-2017-0142) site plan and the
development agreement was signed by both the Developer and the Mayor. Since that time the
developer has received approval for both the Certificate of Zoning Compliance (CZC) and
Design Review (DES) applications (A-2019-0118). All the construction plans have been
approved and the underground improvements were installed and building permits have been
issued for the 18 multi-family buildings and the clubhouse and pool.
Summertown Subdivision Summary
As stated above the site plan and specific design of Summertown Subdivision has already been
determined with the previous applications to the city. So technically we are here only to
subdivide the property and dedicate public right of way. This subdivision has public streets of
Venable Lane and Wrangler Street. Only travel ways in the subdivision are named drive ways.
Summertown contains 26 lots with 23 buildable and 3 common.
