Dear City Council members, we would like to touch bases on a couple of areas regarding the above mentioned project that will be discussed tonight. At the December 21 meeting you all correctly did raise the issue of densities and the resulting traffic. We all know McMillan will not be widened beyond where it's at between Ten Mile and San Vito. It was brought up to have traffic go east to Ten mile versus trying to go south and get on McMillan. The road north of Walmart, east/west, is presently identified as a truck access for deliveries to Walmart. 1 Beyond the initial turn on this access area, a median island exists stating no trucks beyond this point. It is an access for Walmart not intended as a thoroughfare to Ten mile, therefore the only access this project will have be from McMillan. See attached photos. School planning for West Ada district has been made off of your general plan. Progressively over time, we have seen the proposed development of this 16 acre parcel modified from residential to R15 for an assisted living complex. I don't think there is a school age population for this type of a complex. Now, to approve high density residential with a significant impact on schools, where is the money to accommodate this new population growth? Who will be paying for this? Thank you for your time and attention and we look forward for answers tonight. Sincerely, Raymond and Janice Borchard 2
