Request for Continuation of Public Hearing for the Parks
Action Plan
The Parks Recreation Staff respectfully requests that the Council continue our public
hearing on the Parks Action Plan until September 10, 2002. The Impact Fee
Committee did not meet in July since over half the members were unavailable for the
two scheduled meetings. The City Attorney is in the final stages of reviewing our
Impact Fee Ordinance and received helpful information from Mark Estess of the
Association of Realtors on recommended changes to our ordinance. In September
we will present a revised Parks Action Plan complete with a Capital Improvement
Plan and recommended Park Impact Fee increases for Council approval.
