Dear Sir or Madam:
As provided for under Idaho Code Sections 50-2907 and 63-215, and Rule 225 of the
Property Tax Administrative Rules IDAPA 35.01.03.225.02, you are being provided copies of
the following recorded documents for filing:
1. Meridian City Council Ordinance No. 21-1958 (without exhibits or attachments)
approving the Urban Renewal Plan for the Linder District Urban Renewal Project (the “Plan”),
which plan contains a revenue allocation area. The City Council approved the Ordinance at its
meeting of December 14, 2021. The Mayor signed the Ordinance on December 14, 2021.
Publication of the Ordinance Summary in the Idaho Press occurred on December 19, 2021. A
copy of the published Ordinance Summary is also enclosed.
2. Recorded under separate cover, the legal description and map of the boundaries
of the revenue allocation area.
Please file these documents in your official records.
Please note, the boundary of the revenue allocation area extends beyond the municipal
boundary of the city of Meridian and into unincorporated Ada County. As required by Idaho
Code §§ 50-2906(3)(b) and 50-2907(2), the Ada County Board of County Commissioners and
the City of Meridian have entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement (the “Agreement”) on
administration of a revenue allocation financing provision. The Agreement has been formalized
by a transfer of power ordinance adopted by the Ada County Board of County Commissioners in
Ada County Ordinance No. 932 and by City Council Resolution No. 21-2299, which are formal
attachments to Ordinance No. 21-1958. Attached please find a copy of Plan Attachment 8 (also
Ordinance Exhibit 5) – Ada County Board of County Commissioners Ordinance No. 932 and a
copy of Plan Attachment 9 (also Ordinance Exhibit 6) – Meridian City Council Resolution No.
21-2299
