Time Extension Narrative
Biltmore Estates LLC hereby applies for a time extension to obtain the City Engineer's signature on
the fourth final plat for Biltmore Estates Subdivision. Findings for the preliminary plat were
approved by the Meridian City Council on May 21,2014. The property was annexed under
Ordinance No. 14-1594,which was recorded as Instrument No. 114007667. A development
agreement was entered into and recorded as Instrument No. 114052420,records of Ada County,
Idaho.
Construction drawings and the final plat for Phase 4 have been completed. However, continued
labor and material shortages have delayed construction of the phase. The developer will begin
construction Summer 2022.
Biltmore Estates Subdivision No. 3 was signed by the Meridian City Engineer on December 18,
2017,giving a date of December 18,2019,to obtain the signature of the City Engineer on the final
plat for Phase 4. A two-year time extension was granted by the Director,resulting in a date of
December 18,2021,to obtain the City Engineer's signature on the final plat . The applicant
requests a two-year extension to obtain the signature of the City Engineer for the next phase of
Biltmore Estates Subdivision,to December 18, 2023. Thank you for your consideration.
