Hey Alan,
We have reviewed your staff report on Jamestown Ranch Subdivision and agree with your findings except for the
following items:
IV. Staff ANALYSIS
G. Access (UDC 11-3A-3):
ACHD has agreed to allow permeable pavers for all roads except for the collector. Our plans have been
updated accordingly.
O. Waterways (UDC 11-3A-6):
We would like to request an exemption from tiling the Lemp Canal along McMillan Rd due to the size of
this facility. The Lemp Canal would require at least a 60-inch pipe to contain it. City Council has regularly
granted waivers of the requirement to tile the Lemp Canal (see the neighboring Bridgetower West
1
subdivision). In addition, ACHD has confirmed that we will not be required to relocate the Lemp Lateral
from within their right-of-way, the Lemp will remain in its current position. For these reasons, we are
requesting that the Lemp Canal remain open along McMillan Rd.
Your consideration into these items is appreciated.
If you have any questions, please let us know.
Thanks,
Josh Jantz
