JJ-Review Response Letter March 13, 2020 City of Meridian Joseph Dodson 33 E. Broadway Ave. Meridian, ID 83642 RE: Aspen Dental interior finish-3270 North Eagle Road Please find the following in response and clarification to review comments. 1. The scale on the site-plan is incorrect. It states it is ¼” but that scale does not work at all on the plans. The plans are required to be scalable. Please resubmit plans that are to scale. • Scale has been corrected to 1”=10’-0” 2. Please clarify your drive aisle width on the west side of the building, abutting Eagle Rd. Your site-plan shows 23’6” but we approved and inspected this in previous approvals and it was approved at the minimum of 25 feet. • Dimension has been adjusted to reference the correct point. 3. As briefly discussed prior to submittal, the new parking spaces proposed on the south end of the site will require additional parking lot landscaping. The simplest way to accomplish this is to label the street buffer as “existing buffer landscaping…” or similar and then the striped areas you show would need to become planter islands that meet our code (UDC 11-3B-8: Parking Lot Landscaping). Please resubmit landscape plans that show these new planter islands and required parking lot landscaping. • Site plan has been updated to include requested landscaping islands and additional landscaping notes.
