Narrative Letter for Metal GarageNarrative Letter for Metal Garage This project is a very simple design located at the back corner of 508 E. Bower St. near the railroad tracks. The project is similar in materials and architecture as the adjacent building. The garage is located on a dirt lot behind a private fence and gate. The new garage is not in the front of the lot and is not easily noticeable to the public. Most of the ASM details don’t apply to this application. It will have 4 garage doors to break up the front elevation. This building doesn’t impact any pedestrian walkways, visuals or contacts and there is not any parking or asphalt associated or needed as the building is tucked in the northeast corner of the property away from street views and usage (see site map and drawings). The garage will be construction of post and beam construction with a white metal skin and overhead garage doors. The interior will be open with a concrete floor. This does not connect to any other buildings on the property and does not require any signage. The building is approximately 16’ deep x 44’ long x 14’ at the peak. There is no landscaping, electrical, mechanical or such needed.
