This letter is to notify you of an upcoming neighborhood meeting on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 6 : 00pm .
The meeting is for residents who live in the immediate area of a new commercial building project requiring a
Conditional Use Permit. The meeting is intended to provide an opportunity for neighbors to learn about the
project and also voice any concerns they may have . We will be holding a virtual neighborhood meeting . If you

Some of the details of the proposed project are as follows . The location proposed for the new commercial
buildings is located at 2385 E . Lake Hazel Road in Meridian . The City of Meridian is proposing to construct a
new Fire Station and Police Substation on the four- acre site (building site plan & rendering attached) . Both
buildings are approximately 11 , 500 square feet each . The hours of operation are 24 hours/ 7 days per week .
Access to the site will be off a planned collector road west of site . The proposed stations will provide essential
public safety services to the community .
