Dear Planning Staff:
B&A is requesting to vacate a portion of a landscape easement on Olson and Bush
Subdivision No 2. The request is specifically to vacate the easement on Lot 1 and Lot 2,
Block 3. The note on the plat reads, "The 20 foot landscape setback on Lots 1 through 5,
Block 3, shall be reserved for landscaping required by the City of Meridian. These lots shall
provide landscaping as required by the City of Meridian."
The applicant also owns the properties to the south. The subject landscape easement
effectively cuts the combined ownership in half. Upon approval of the vacation request, will
consolidate the lots through a property boundary adjustment and pull a building permit for
the combined property. The City of Meridian Unified Development Code will set the
required landscaping along the perimeter of the property boundaries.
