Alan, We are prepared to install the bridge as soon as we have final approval and license agreement with Nampa-Meridian Irrigation. We have submitted the plans and docs to get this accomplished. The pathway has been installed. We’ve bonded with the City for the landscaping in Phase 2 including the new dog park. Once the bridge is installed we can finish the landscaping. In addition, we bonded for the fencing in this area and are currently in the process of installing. It says the proposed common area will have access via a pedestrian bridge over the Creason Lateral. Was this pedestrian bridge put in, and if it wasn’t, how are people getting to the common area? Alan, The existing dog park was totally removed from the project. The residents didn’t even know there was a dog park. We originally proposed 3 building lots in Phase 3 of the project but fund that the cost of installing a vehicle bridge to access these lots was not cost effective. As such, we amended our Phase 2 plat to provide a new dog park in this location. By doing this the dog park became more a part of the subdivision than the original location. In addition, it abuts the future nature park on the property originally designated as Phase 3 of the project. With the relocation of the dog park we were hoping to create 2 building lots on the old dog park lot thus recouping 2 of the 3 lost lots. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
