Where practical (determined between liaisons and the Public Relations Manager) commission posts should be re-posted to the main city pages as well. For commissions who aren’t using media currently and want to utilize social media as a new option, the staff liaison needs to be in contact with their supervisor and manager to make sure that the work load and need is appropriate, and they also need to be approved by the Public Relations Manager to ensure that our City-wide media policies/procedures are adhered to. We will only authorize staff liaisons to make posts (not individual commissioners or other outside people). As the City reviews communications policies and procedures for long-term improvements, this policy could be subject to change.” 2 Item 1.
