1. Approve Minutes from May 26, 2021 Meeting

REPORTS
2. Update: Current and Incoming Gallery Exhibit
The Subcommittee discussed the success of the June Installation and large
attendance at the Opening Reception. The next show will be rodeo themed and
installed on July 2. Jenifer Cavaness-Williams will be the host.
DISCUSSION ITEMS
3. Review Calendar for Initial Point Gallery Artists 2022
A. Belnap showed the Subcommittee her tracking sheet of artists who have
accepted their scheduled time slots for 2022. She informed the Subcommittee that
there are 7 openings for 3D artists and 9 openings for 2D artists.
4. Select New Artists to Invite to the Gallery
The Subcommittee reviewed the artists listed on the sheet compiled by A. Belnap
and the Subcommittee. Together, the Subcommittee selected the artists to invite
for 2022. See below document for details.
NEXT MEETING - July 28, 2028
Due to Subcommittee members being out of town, the next Initial Point Gallery
Subcommittee meeting will be on Tuesday, July 27 at 1pm.

REPORTS
1. Update: Current and Incoming Gallery Exhibit
The current gallery exhibit shows the work of very talented students from WASD.
The upcoming exhibit will be Antonia Hedrick, Becka Watkins, Sue Martin, and
Mandy Henebry. B. Griffith will be the host for the Opening Reception.
DISCUSSION ITEMS
2. Review Scores for Initial Point Gallery Applications for 2022
A. Belnap showed the Subcommittee the average scores for each artist, putting the
submissions in order of highest scores to lowest. The Subcommittee agreed that
these scores will be a starting point in accepting and scheduling artists in the
Initial Point Gallery.
ACTION ITEMS
3. Schedule Artists for Initial Point Gallery 2022
The Subcommittee discussed each artist, grouped artists together in various
themes, and assigned each selected artist with gallery space and a month. The final
selection with theming was determined:
February- No Theme

Each Subcommittee member agreed to research artists that could fit the theming
