Hi,
I want to say NO to RV parking allowed on private property without HOA's. This will inundate non-
HOA controlled homes to park RV's from the biggest 5th wheel to the old rusted eyesore's. This is
not what the people of Meridian want. No one wants to drive thru streets to get home with eyesores
everywhere, as that is what will happen. People will take advantage, they will get a couple bags of
quik crete or gravel, and park their RV or anyone else's who can pay "rent" on top of them satisfying
the requirement. This was written poorly and whoever wrote it should be ashamed, as well as
whoever let it get this far. Better get ready to change the moto "Built for business, designed for living"
to "Built for RV's!" The excuse of "it doesn't apply to people in HOA's" doesn't matter as there are
plenty that aren't, maybe 50%. People will abuse the system, dump sewage in the streets, rent out
the RV's, rent out their driveways and front lawns, block sidewalks, and put storage places out of
business resulting in loss of city income. Prepare for downtown Meridian to be swamped with RV's
as there is no HOA. Maybe you can see them from your offices. Do you like that? NO. Vote this
down immediately and don't bring it up again.
