To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to you today to ask you to NOT change the current Meridian City Code 11-3C-4A in regards to parking RV's and trailers on personal property. As an RV owner I don't have the desire to park my RV on my property because of how it makes the neighborhood look. If I had wanted that option, I could have built an RV garage to conceal the recreational vehicle. However, I willingly store my RV at an off-site location and pay a substantial fee to have it stored in a safe and secure location that is appropriate for my needs. I don't want our city turning into a mega city and I really wish you, as the City Council, would respect our wishes and stop trying to make Meridian the next "Big City". There is no need to change this code. Those who currently wish to store their RV on their property can do so behind the fence if allowed by the HOA. If you allow people to store them on their driveways, then they will have no place to park because not many people park in the garages anymore. So street parking will be the next step for personal vehicles. Also, most RV's or trailers are too long for the standard driveways and as a result they will intrude onto the sidewalks and become a walking hazard for pedestrians as well as children out riding bikes and playing in the neighborhoods. Making changes to this City Code is not a needed change and I am opposed to this change. Thank You, Carrie Hovey 1
