Please do not do this. We lived, in Oregon, in a community that made this change, and it just changed the character of the whole neighborhood, and the change was not for the better. The less vehicles observable from the street the better. Next, to happen, as was the case in our Oregon neighborhood, was the parking of commercial vehicles and eventually over-niter "homeless" people with their wornout RV's. Also, they were used as "guest houses" and even one was rented out. The last thing our Meridian police need is to be spending their valuable time on is monitoring the parking of recreational vehicles and dealing with the animosity that will come from neighbors reporting each other for violations of the ordinance. Also, let us be reasonable, as those who can afford these type of seldom used vehicles have the money to store them at a secured facility for that purpose. I am also appalled at the thought that the individual HOA's would not be able to make their own decisions about this matter. Linda Charles Ashford Greens 1
