I am a homeowner in the Kelly Creek subdivision in northwest Meridian. I strongly oppose the considered changes to
city code and parking of RV's. Neighborhood HOA's have long prohibited the practice of front side RV parking for good
reason. It is critical that the city strengthen codes and protect the integrity of our neighborhoods. As it is currently
noted in the proposal, HOA's would still have authority to enforce parking codes in individual neighborhoods. But the
city should do it's part to protect ALL neighborhoods and maintain standards that benefit everyone. City code must
include plain language that guarantees HOA's the right to enforce their own parking standards. RV parking should never
be allowed in the street or in the street front side or driveway of any home, in any neighborhood.
