NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
Regarding Meridian's Community Development Block
Grant (CDBG) Program
The City of Meridian is designated an Entitlement Communi-
ty by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
(HUD). This designation allows the City to receive funds annu-
ally from HUD's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
Program. The City anticipates that it will receive an allocation of
$501,559 on October 1, 2021. In order to rece ve these funds,
the City must submit an Annual Action Plan to HUD identifying
the projects and goals the City will undertake to improve ac-
cessibility, enhance housing opportun ties, and provide social
services to law and moderate income residents during the next
program year.
ALL CITIZENS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND A PUBLIC HEAR-
ING ON TUESDAY, JULY 20, 2021 AT 6:OOP.M. at httns:/_I

There is also limited seating avai able in C ty Hall. Spec al in
vitation is extended to persons with disabilit'es, residents of
