Project/Application Name: WRRF Map Amendment- CPAM
The City of Meridian is requesting a comprehensive map adjustment for land to the north surrounding the
WRRF at 3401 N Ten Mile Road. Based on the results of the most recent Odor Study, the City would like to
request that the north 16.5 acres of its property located at N Ten Mile Rd (parcel SO434131201) be zoned
medium density residential and the 23.7 acres of the same parcel directly adjacent to the WRRF be zoned
industrial to match the WRRF's current zoning designation. The City is also requesting that 4 acres of the
Description of work: northern corner of the Brighton property (parcel SO434244225) be zoned medium density residential while
the lower 16.1 acres adjacent to the WRRF be zoned industrial.
These adjustments are favorable to the City and surrounding areas as it creates a band of contiguous
industrial zoning around the WRRF while releasing land to potential future residential development where
appropriate as identified in the recent Odor Study.
