Can’t imagine they’d mind having their access road improved, just didn’t want to surprise him. Thanks for staying on this Joe. I’ll check in with Greg right now. With the 144 units, the meat packing plant, the houses and the 33 town homes across the street – I have concerns about access. If Meridian Road is shut down for any reason in this area, we have no access to your project. I am working with Kim to see if we can allow the pathway at the end of Blue Heron to be widened to 20’ and bollards installed as part of the approval process. This would give us an excellent secondary access in case something were to happen to Meridian Road. 1 Kim is checking with the ditch company to make sure improving the pathway to 20’ wide will not interfere with anything. I also still have concerns this project is under parked as Blue Heron Lane after 6pm is full of cars. If this phase is under parked as well, they will have nowhere to park. Can you work with Alan to see if you can remove the garages and make them true parking stalls? That is the issue with the first phase. 56 of the “parking spaces” are garages. They are not being parked in. They are being used for storage. Hence the overflow onto Blue Heron. I am waiting for Kim’s reply then I can move this project forward.
